Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 August 2026

These terms govern use of the ORLA Legal Hub platform and website (the “Service”), provided by ORLA Technologies Pty Ltd (ABN 31 701 433 169), trading as ORLA Legal Hub (“ORLA”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. Where a firm has a separate signed services agreement with ORLA, that agreement prevails over these terms to the extent of any inconsistency.

1. The Service

ORLA provides legal-technology software that helps a law firm run its practice — including client and matter management, bookings, payments, communications, a client portal, and optional integrations such as calendar sync and accounting. ORLA is a technology provider, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You agree to use the Service lawfully, not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, and to comply with your own professional and legal obligations.

3. Your data

A firm retains ownership of its client and matter data. ORLA processes that data to provide the Service in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Connected services (such as Google Calendar) are used only to provide the features you enable, and you may disconnect them at any time.

4. Third-party integrations

The Service integrates third-party providers (including telephony, email, payments, accounting and calendar). Those services are subject to their own providers’ terms, and their use of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, improve or modify the Service, and may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date shows when they were last revised.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ORLA excludes implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
